I just took some random shots of myself. I didn't do any editing to these pictures. I am just not happy at all with the way I look anymore. I've been on a diet since July and I have yet to lose any noticable weight. I kill myself exercising 4-5 nights a week, have problems with my knee now as a result, and have nothing at all to show for it. I don't even think I look nice in my face at all anymore. My hair has finally gotten long-I haven't had it cut in a year. (look back at some of the first pictures i posted when I had 8 inches cut off without wanting it) I do love my hair's length and color right now, I believe it is my best feature anymore. Even my eyes, which I used to get tons of compliments on, aren't anything special anymore. I will be 28 in May, and it's beyond depressing-I am really starting to look old. I lost that young appeal I was had. I am really really unhappy with myself and my appearance. It might help if my boyfriend wasn't such an ass all the time and would call me pretty and beautiful or even say I look nice consistently. I get nothing from him ever, and he wonders why I am always miserable and why I don't like how I look. The only time I get a "hot" anymore is when well you know-I have nothing on. I don't want to be hot or sexy, I want to be called beautiful. I want my boyfriend to be proud to be with me and how I look, even if I don't look as good as I did when he first met me. This is such a hard concept for me to accept. I actually am not naturally pretty anymore; I have to put effort into looking "nice" and it depresses me even more to know that.

Jesse is back to being an asshole yet again-it's a Friday night and I am resorting to taking pictures of myself instead of spending time with my boyfriend because of how selfish he is anymore. He can't ever put me first and I have had it. Last January he pulled the same crap-we actually weren't together for a few weeks because of the asshole he is.

Sometimes, I wonder if it is even worth being in a relationship anymore- I am NOT a part-time girlfriend and if I am only good enough when it's convienent for you, then maybe I am not good enough at all. Then I will have tons of views on these pictures and yet no one will leave any comments. I am actually getting bored with Flickr because of that reason. I know people look, but what fun is it not to have any dialog on the pictures. If you are going to look them, you should say something.

The Kangaroo Family
Kangaroos, and their close relatives, vary greatly in size, ranging in weight from 500 grams to 90 kilograms. There are at least 69 different types (called species) of kangaroo. These species are found naturally in the wild only in Australia and New Guinea, although feral populations of some species have been introduced in New Zealand, Great Britain and Hawaii.

Recently, scientists have separated these species into two families (the Macropodidae and the Potoroidae) which together form a super-family known as the Macropodoidea (or macropods). The family Macropodidae includes kangaroos, wallabies, wallaroos, pademelons, tree-kangaroos and the forest wallabies of New Guinea. The family Potoroidae is made up of potoroos, rat-kangaroos and bettongs which are only found in Australia.

Getting Around
Kangaroos of all sizes have one thing in common - powerful back legs with long feet. They are distinguished from other animals by the way they hop on these strong back legs. Only a few other small mammals, such as hopping mice, do this.
